CAROL FEILLE D'AVILA - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
The Founder and Artistic Director of the Austin City Ballet, Carol Feille D’Avila is originally from Southern California. Her earliest training began with The Royal Academy of Dance, and later incorporated a Russian Cecchetti background through the instruction of Victor Moreno of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Ms. D’Avila danced with the North County Ballet Company in Southern California for 4 years under the direction of Mr. Moreno before entering the University of Southern California to study Drama and Dance. She graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts Interdisciplinary from the University of California at Irvine. She is a Registered Member of The Royal Academy of Dance and holds a Teaching Certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance.
Ms. D’Avila is also the mother of 3 children who all dance or have danced with The Austin City Ballet!

MADELEINE D'AVILA - studied at The Austin Conservatory of the Arts for 22 years and has studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre, and is currently the Assistant Director of The Austin City Ballet. Madeleine has performed the role of Sugarplum Fairy, Clara, Snow Queen and Reed Flute in The Austin City Ballet Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Peter in Peter Pan, The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Titania and Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and a repertoire that includes Coppelia, La Bayadere and Paquita. Madeleine and her husband, David, just celebrated their daughter's first birthday. They plan to raise their family involved in all artforms.
Our instructors are highly qualified, experienced and passionate, providing a high level of technical instruction and fun to all ages and abilities. We not only teach technique, poise, rhythm and grace, we also teach dedication, team work and discipline. It is our goal to create an environment for our students to experience the combination of dance and life training.
